this game is totally awesome
but like one time it tried to load a movie and the screen just went black and i had to exit the game and like... redo a whole bunch of stuff cause I hadnt saved. so that sucked.
i thought problems like that werent a thing anymore but i guess they are.
the game and the story and the art are all sweet radical though.
If at First You Don't Succeed, Un-Try a Different Ending

Note on Game Play: Players are encouraged to just wing it to start, especially players familiar with the TV series. All of the choices come as phone triggers, incoming calls or emails, for which the suggested default response is to accept every phone call, open and read every email, view every attachment, reply whenever allowed to, and try both cancelling the d-mails and refusing to. This will clear a lot of achievements and endings, probably not including either the True Ending or the achievements that require making the correct choice at several different points, some of which are mutually exclusive. Clearing those will require a lot of time (and a lot of luck) or following one of the cheat sheets you can find online.
Note: Intriguingly, the story is based on a real occurrence: a person claiming to be a time traveler, calling himself John Titor, looking for a real computer I. B. M. 5100 Portable Computer.
Turned out better than I thought

I've only had this for a few days, I'm on chapter 4. The story is intriguing and the art is nice to look at. Without giving the story away, I find it interesting how the writers spun a story off of real events/people/and a certain research facility. I'm anxious to finish this story and all the endings.
Buggy, but still playable, if you can handle a little tech frustration.

This is the first visual novel that I have purchased. I loved the Steins;Gate anime and I had been looking forward to getting my hands on the visual novel for some time. The case and the enclosed booklet are both quite nice. I had a few reservations when I noticed that the installer was using semicolons in path names. The game starts up and runs great up until what I am assuming is supposed to be a video sequence about 10 minutes into the prologue. At that point, the screen goes black and the game hangs with your only available option being to quit. If that weren't frustrating enough, there is very little support information available. It took a while to find a work around buried on a Steam forum, but the sequence is still broken.
If it were not for the broken prologue compounded by the lack of support/trouble-shooting options, I would give this game 5 stars. The presence of an error log file might have bumped it up to 4 stars.
Amazing,but stressful for first timers.

This game is a excellent game and this is the first visual novel i have purchased and since i had not experienced visual novels,i found 99% of reading and 1 % of action very stressful, but it was a excellent game and i have played it twice, one for the Mayuri Ending and one for the true ending, and i have completed 100% of the game in the achievements section and this is the only game in which i have completed the entire game and i loved it.
Great Visual Novel

This is one of my favorite visual novels of all time, quite possibly Nitroplus/5pb's best game to date. If you haven't already watched the associated anime based on it, I'd recommend that too - it's also one of my favorite anime series of all time. All in all, an excellent game!
